The second Bulldog Care Day was a success this past Wednesday! Take a look at the things some of our students did to serve their community!
Mrs. Coleman, Mrs. Denny, Mrs. Roberts and their 8th graders made hot chocolate cones to be sold so they can adopt a child for Christmas this year.
Mrs. DeVenuti’s class worked on Operation Christmas Child for Samaritan’s Purse, making shoeboxes filled with goodies for children in need!
Mrs. Clayton's 6th graders made uplifting cards for a local nursing home and picked up trash around the school!
The high school science classes went to Mayo Park for trail cleanup and trash pickup.
Mrs. Davis’ class went shopping at Walmart for “Angel Tree” children for the Person County Partnership for Children!
Mrs. Miller’s class made cards for children at Duke Hospital!
Mrs. Carter’s Math 1 students worked with the ladies at Oak Grove United Methodist Church on their food pantry setup, shoe box ministry, and cleaning up the church grounds!
Mrs. Devillier’s class created read books for a read-aloud library for local elementary schools!
Mrs. Cobb’s 7th graders took all the candy they collected for Operation Gratitude to the Roxboro Police Department.
Mrs. Albachten’s class tied blankets for animals at the animal shelter!
Ms. Jones and Mrs. Bettendorf’s 8th grade classes made wreaths for Maple Heights residents to decorate their doors for upcoming holidays.
Mrs. Knaub’s class decorated flags and wrote letters to veterans!
